After a two-month break, the Extreme Supercars driven by Dunlop will return to action on 20 and 21 June when they head for Zwartkops Raceway for the third round of their 2025 championship.

Kris Budnick (Bucketlist Composites Dodge Viper) leads both the overall and Class A championship standings. In the overall standings, his closest rival, aside from Bradley Liebenberg, who has opted not to compete this weekend, is GT3 class leader Jonathan du Toit (Trans Africa Racing Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO). Class B leader Ant Blunden (SAJCO/G&H Transport Audi R8) is next up in the overall standings ahead of a trio of drivers all tied together on 26 points, Paul Hill (Kalex Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO), Uli Sanne (BMW Z4) and Marius Jackson, who has not entered at the time of writing.

In the GT3 class, du Toit is likely to face stiff competition from Charl Arangies (Stradale Motorsport Porsche GT3R), who missed the last round at Kyalami. Gianni Giannoccaro (G&H Transport/Sparco Nissan GTR R35 GT3) will also look to add to his points tally.
Damian Hammond (Liqui Moly Lamborghini Huracán) joined the Class A brigade at the Kyalami round back in April and immediately proved he would be a force to be reckoned with by winning the first heat. He followed that up with second place in the next, proving that he will be a threat to Budnick, Hill, and Ricky Giannoccaro (G&H Transport Mercedes AMG) in the quest for Class A honours.
Blunden looks like he will have things all his own way in Class B, while Sanne will be waiting to see if one of the newcomers will join him in Class C. Jimmy Giannoccaro will contest Class B in the G&H Transport McLaren GT3.
Former competitor Elwyn Steenkamp is scheduled to make a welcome return to the series in his Jeys Consultants BMW M4, after spending considerable time ironing out the teething problems with the new build. Wayne Rooch will also be making his first appearance in the Sambone Lamborghini Gallardo.
After a qualifying session at 09h30 on Saturday morning, the Extreme SuperCars driven by Dunlop competitors will contest three sprint races around the 2.4 km long Zwartkops Raceway. The first two heats, scheduled for 10h50 and 12h30, will be run over 10 laps, while the third heat, at 15h35, will be contested over 12 laps.
