Jonathan du Toit (Trans Africa Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO) and Arnold Neveling (GOSCOR Lift Trucks / Bobcat Audi R8 LMS GT3) are the ones to watch, leading the overall and GT3 class standings. Their determination and resilience will be displayed as they continue their season-long battle, with Neveling aiming for a better outcome than his challenging weekend at Zwartkops. Gianni Giannoccaro (Stradale Motorsport / BISC Transport Nismo GTR GT3) is currently in third place in the GT3 standings and will be looking to add to his points tally.

Charl Arangies will not be in the GT3 class after his Stradale Motorsport Mercedes AMG GT3 suffered gearbox damage, and spare parts haven’t arrived. Instead, he will be out in Class A, driving the Stradale Motorsport Porsche 997, where he will have Ricky Giannoccaro to contend with. Ricky will give his newly acquired G&H Transport McLaren its first competitive outing.

Mark du Toit has entered his Ferrari F430 and will be looking for Class B honours, while Ant Blunden will give the second G&H Transport McLaren a run. Jimmy Giannoccaro, who missed the last round, will be back in the G&H Transport Audi R8 GT4 LMS.

Three practice sessions on Friday will get drivers familiar with the 2.48km long circuit before Saturday morning’s qualifying session, which is scheduled for 09h10. The three races take place at 12h05, 15h40 and 16h55. All three races will be live-streamed on https://extremefestival.co.za/live/
