The second round of the 2025 Extreme SuperCars driven by Dunlop championship will take place at the iconic Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit. The Extreme SuperCars drivers will join the rest of their National and Regional Extreme Festival competitors in a bumper motorsport event from 10 to 12 April at the iconic Midrand track.

At the opening round in Cape Town at the beginning of March, Brad Liebenberg (TurnMeOn / Sparco Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO) claimed the overall and GT3 victories to head the championship log. He is likely to face some stiff competition in the GT3 class from current champion Jonathan du Toit (Trans Africa Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO), Ryan Naicker, who will be making his first appearance in the series in his Mercedes AMG GT3, Charl Arangies (Stradale Motorsport Porsche 991.2 GT3) and Gianni Giannoccaro (G&H Transport / Sparco McLaren).

Kris Budnik (Bucketlist Composites Dodge Viper) tops the Class A standings. In Franco Scribante’s absence, his closest rivals should be Paul Hill (Kalex Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO 2), Marius Jackson (MJR Motorsport Audi R8 LMS GT3), and Ricky Giannoccaro (G&H Transport Mercedes AMG). However, some of the newcomers to the class could also slot into Class A once they have completed a race this weekend.
At the time of writing, class championship leader Ant Blunden (G&H Racing / SAJCO McLaren MP4-23C) was the only confirmed entry in Class B, although he is unlikely to be on his own when Saturday arrives.
Class C should see a repeat of the Cape Town battles between Uli Sanne (G&H Transport BMW Z4) and Jimmy Giannoccaro (G&H Racing Porsche).
Newcomers to the series, Damian Hammond (Liqui Moly Lamborghini Super Trofeo), Wayne Roach (Trinity Lamborghini Super Trofeo), Sam Hammond (Lamborghini Super Trofeo) and Stefan Snyders (BMW M3) will be allocated to classes once they have completed their first race.
The Extreme SuperCars driven by Dunlop competitors will have three practice sessions spread across Thursday and Friday morning. They will then tackle their qualifying session at 13h20 on Friday. Their two 8-lap races will take place at 11h45 and 13h45 on Saturday.
