Cape Town’s Killarney International Raceway will host the opening round of the 2025 Extreme Supercars driven by Dunlop championship on 7 & 8 March. The races will form part of the opening round of the National Extreme Festival presented by Coca-Cola.

In the national championship GT3 class, current champion Jonathan du Toit (Trans Africa Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO) will face stern competition from series newcomer Brad Liebenberg (TurnMeOn / Sparco Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO) and Charl Arangies in his recently acquired Stradale Motorsport Porsche 911 GT3 R2. Paul Hill will also be chasing championship points in his Kalex / Fast Developments Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO.

Franco Scribante (Porsche 997) will likely be the man to beat in Class A. He will have to hold off Marius Jackson (MJR Motorsport Audi R8 LMS GT3), Kris Budnick (Dodge Viper), Gianni Giannoccaro (G&H Transport McLaren MP4-12C) and Ricky Giannoccaro, who will be having his first competitive outing in the G&H Transport Mercedes AMG.

Youngster Shayur Harpal (Lamborghini Gallardo) will have Marco Retter (Progress Precision Engineering BMW E46), Ant Blunden (G&H Racing / SAJCO McLaren MP4-23C) and Roy Obery (Porsche 911 GT3 Cup MR) to contend with if he wants to walk away with Class B honours.

Jimmy Giannoccaro (G&H Racing Audi R8 GT4) should have things his own way in Class C, while Renzo Torrente (ATM Chiptuning and Uli Sanne (G&H Racing BMW Z4) will fight it out for the Class D win.

The Extreme SuperCars driven by Dunlop competitors will contest three 12-lap sprint races around the 3.267 km long Killarney International Raceway on Saturday. The opening heat is scheduled for 11h15, and heats two and three are scheduled for 14h20 and 16h10, respectively.
